i've been conversing with a particular blogger about advertising on her website. emails started and lasted about a month, not two months ago (please get your facts correct!).
she sent an email last night stating that she doesn't want to advertise for us anymore because we've been taking way too long to reply emails, reserving slots and then disappearing. i understand your paranoia about blogshop owners reserving slots and then not paying up.
is one month a very long period?
i've waited MONTHS for my advertorials to be published and i've never complained once! i have bloggers to attest to that! i don't scream and kick up a big fuss when my advertorials are delayed!
we did not disappear. we merely took our time to reply emails because there were also other advertisements to consider. if reserving slots is an issue to you, perhaps you could've just suggested for payment to be made first (to ensure that blog owners don't disappear) and then find a time to slot in the advertisement.
Money is definitely not an issue. we're good paymasters and many bloggers can attest to that too!!! but because there were other blogs to consider, we have to decide which blogger to advertise with and use the money wisely.
no one is making use of you. no one is playing a prank on you. no one is trying to be funny.
i'm also wondering why the rest of the bloggers, also filled with countless advertorials, never complained one bit about the duration/reply of our emails. we have never encountered any issues with any other bloggers that we've advertised with. We've even got testimonials to back that up!
come on, it's only because the rate of replying emails is not up to her standard. i don't complain when my customers place an order and reply me one/two weeks later. i don't complain when they disappear or simply don't reply emails. i don't complain and cuss dead buyers! life's too short to be complaining about such mundane stuff!
i have never met such an unprofessional blogger in my life!
and for THAT blogshop owner who requested to read our emails (between blogger and us), GROW UP AND GO GET A LIFE!!!
